This is one of the main hospitals in Eindhoven with an emergency department. If you need to find an emergency department, look for the Eerste Hulp (First Help) sign. I have had first hand experience of this hospital and found everyone spoke and understood English, the staff are very sympathetic and kind.

If you are looking for Doctors or Dentists, all the information is in Dutch but do not despair, click on Gesondheidszorg which is in the list on the left of your screen then, from the pulldown list, click on Artsen (Doctor) or Tandartsen (Dentist). You may then pick the Doctor or Dentist of your choice from the next pulldown list (there are a lot). You may find that the Dentists have a waiting list.

Operators for the Pan-European emergency number (112) speak English and will contact the appropriate emergency service. Calling 112 is free from any telephone (mobile cellular or fixed-line).
The Denk Vooruit ("think ahead") website has practical information on what to do in a variety of crisis situations.
The first Monday of each month at midday the emergency sirens are tested. There is no cause for alarm. In the event of a real emergency go inside and tune the television or radio to a local station for further information.

Most general practitioner's surgeries are open Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00.
